As much as I will be on here, I am not sure as to whether or not other people will read these, so I will save myself some stress and simply behave as though they won't. Why would they?
I have to have something better for them to read than my hormone-addled sputterings from highschool graduate me, hahaha!

So, for now, I will occasionally drop a few lines for the folks that are curious and find themselves clicking about my page.

"Welcome back to GaiaOnline" indeed blaugh blaugh
Over a decade and two children later, I come back and get to see my fresh out of highschool opinions to openly cringe at.

I was raised in a strict, single parent military household and religion was my only escape from a deeply traumatic childhood and teen years. Religion was my crutch.

Many of the folks that I had argued with were correct but I wasn't going to admit that and that little point right there... THAT is where people need to start in getting folks to understand different perspectives.

I was nothing if not worrisome or fearful while I was growing up.
I had a lot to be afraid of. I still do but being an adult, I had learned to face many of those fears and bare the scars openly to show my growth.

I am still an artist and reconsidering doing my "A wild artist appears" bit again.

Allow me to re-introduce myself...
I am Lotus Obsidia Draelik.
I am a mother of two, wife, artist and aspiring writer/influencer.
My politics are progressive but my temperment is not.
I am always learning and growing whether I am showing it or not.
Y'all be safe in this maddening world as it will only get worse if we don't work to make it better.
