Prostatitis Caused from Too Much Honeymoon Bliss
Prostatitis is a disease that usually happens to a man during the honeymoon period mainly due to frequent intercourse in a short period of time. 98.7% of newly married men have acute prostatitis that trigger prostate swelling that causes premature ejaculation, nocturnal emission, ejaculation pain and even erectile dysfunction. Secondly prostatitis may produce excessive congestion and pressure making the patient urinate frequently and/or have blood in their urine or sperm. Severe cases may be the source of fatigue, weakness, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, fever, chills and pain and discomfort to the groin and/or testicles.

Being overworked to get ready for your honeymoon, traveling and disrupting your sleep routine can weaken your natural defenses, coupled with not paying attention to hygiene; excessive sex causing increased bacteria can easily cause prostatitis. Add in excessive eating (especially spicy, fatty foods) and drinking more alcohol during your honeymoon, will bring about excessive congestion and inflammation to the prostate.

Treatment for prostatitis; the patient must pay attention to their rest and get the required number of hours of sleep, reduce frequency of intercourse (sorry guys), avoid hot, spicy and fat foods, drink more water to flush the urethra and if needed, get a prescription of antibiotics, especially if you have blood in your urine.

Prostatitis is common in young men and is an infection of the male reproductive system. There are two types of prostatitis; acute and chronic. Acute prostatitis is a bacteria or virus in the prostate caused by acute inflammation that is similar to a urinary tract infection.

Chronic prostatitis causes the patient to have lower back pain, urethral burning, white cloudy discharge, prostate spasm, prostate pain, very intense pain associated with sexual orgasm immediately after ejaculation. Sexual dysfunctions caused by chronic prostatitis are;

1. Prostatic congestion and inflammation can stimulate the prostate urethra inducing frequent spermatorrhea. Spermatorrhea is a condition of excessive, involuntary ejaculation.

2. Prostatic congestion increases sensitivity of the genital nerve when sexually excited increasing premature ejaculation.

3. Prostatic long-tem congestion decreases sexual arousal due to local discomfort, which may lead to impotence.

4. Prostatic serious congestion causes blood in sperm. Ejaculation and prostate contraction produces pain.

Chronic prostatitis is more likely to trigger looking for sex right now a series of sexual dysfunctions. In order to alleviate chronic prostatitis and not cause a sexual dysfunction, it is recommended to stop all sexual activity temporarily until the symptoms have been treated and the prostate is no longer enlarged and inflamed.

According to the Mayo Clinic, treatment for chronic prostatitis is as follows:

1. Alpha Blockers. Medications that help relax the bladder neck and muscle fibers where the prostate joins the bladder. This medication may lessen symptoms, such as painful urination.

2. Pain Relievers. Aspirin and Ibuprofen can help ease the pain.

3. Prostatic Massage. Physician manually or digitally uses lubricated, gloved finger to bring relief.

4. Alternative Remedies. Other treatments under clinical trials are showing potential for improving chronic prostatitis such as; heat therapy, sitz baths, acupuncture, herbal remedies and biofeedback monitoring equipment which will teach you how to control body functions, including relaxing your muscles to manage pain associated with prostatitis.
