Lately, loads of people have come up to me shouting, "OMG JON YOU PLUS QUEER PROM EQUALS GOING!"

And I'm like, uh, no.

I will go be gay at the regular prom, not some prom made for queers, by queers.

Its like...
Handicaps got their own parking space, just like normal people.
Fags got their own prom, just like normal people.

I'd also like to gripe about queer things in general.
Rainbows. Pride Parade. Gay Athems.

Lets start with parades.

Doesn't anyone else think its demeaning? Personally, I don't think straight people (breeders XD) would treat gays so differently and give them looks of disgust if they didn't go out and do different things like dancing in the street to...uh... "promote tolerance".

Now, this is what really gets me...
Gay anthems...
Are there really not enough homosexual bands/singers out there that you can idolize?
I was recently on Wikipedia, and I pulled up a list of gay anthems (songs that are prominent in the gay community i.e. songs that are associated with gayness).
There were typical songs...
Over the Rainbow.
Anything by ABBA.
Yadda yadda

BUT THEN
I noticed the song...
"Cleaning Out My Closet", by rap superstar Eminem.

WTF

I went back over the list and noticed that ANY song that mentions Rainbows, Closets, Coming Out, etc. were on it.

Isn't stealing ABBA and Queen enough?

I'm just ranting at this point, so congrats if you bothered to read it all.

I can be gay WITHOUT participating in demeaning events that will only make people even more disgusted towards me.

I mean JESUS, can't a guy listen to Barbie Girl without a herd of people begging him to go to Queer Stampede (Pride Parade in realistic terms) or something?
