You are my hero, my wannabe gangster, my knight in sometimes shining armor. You are my darling, my closest friend, my dear confident, my one, my only. I will never be able to express my feelings for you, because there are not enough words. For 2 years we've been working hard to keep this relationship running, we've fought and argued, but we always made up. And I can't thank you enough for that.

It still surprises me sometimes, that when I'm having an awful day, and when I'm just extremely cranky, you're still there, smiling that goofy smile and telling the absolute worst jokes ever. But they make me smile, and my day is always better with you around. You put up with all of my mood swings, even when I'm trying to fight.

I turn to you for everything, I tell you things I'd normally only tell one of my girl best friends. Which is... sorta weird, I'll admit.

You put up with my childish fears, you're there for me at all hours of the night, no matter how late (or early) in the day it is, you sit up with me until I fall back asleep.

One day you said "Everyone thinks I'm Superman, but I'm not, and I don't want to be."
I had told you then that you weren't my Superman, you were just my man. And I'd never thought of you as Superman. But lately, as I look back on our past, I realize you were and are my Superman. You are my hero, my protector, my dearest darling love. And I'd be more of a mess than I am now without you. I love you.
