Twism FAQ
After getting so many of the same questions in PM, I decided to create an FAQ XD!

Please read through this before sending me a PM with a question 3nodding

* First...please don't PM me asking for donations or gifts xp . If I want to donate or give a gift to someone, It'd be to someone I know, and I'd want it to be a surprise.

Art Info

> The only Gaia account that sells "Twism" art IS THIS ACCOUNT!!! Any other account that claims they are Twism and offers to sell Twism art IS A SCAM!!!

> Currently (1-26-08 ) : Mom is angry that I've been drawing too much...so I'm rather unlikely to accept any new commissions TwT;

> If you commission me for art, please understand that art takes time to draw!!!! Waiting weeks, even months, for art is NOT uncommon gonk . (Not years ^^; I'm not that unreasonable). I don't mind people dropping me notes for status checks and to poke me about commissions. But...threatening to cancel commissions after only a few weeks of waiting, or asking for reductions in price because you had to wait a month or two is just ridiculous. If you're that impatient, then maybe I'm not the right artist for you. I'm sorry. TwT

> I occasionally open art shops...but they're always temporary (as in...open for one or two nights, offering very limited quick pictures). If you see one in the R&C forum and want, grab a slot quick! I don't open one often, and there are very limited slots!

> I also occasionally open art auctions! These are pretty much the only way to get full body non-chibi arts, or sets of chibi pictures TwT.

> I also sometimes accept PM bribe commissions! Though...I often turn them down, also TT;. *dies* My willingness to accept and for how much really really depends on how busy I am at that exact moment TT;. (So please don't be angry if I say I'm busy...and then open a shop a little later or something. I probably WAS busy at that time...but then got less busy later O_O;;. It happens. ) I don't have set prices for bribes, so please don't ask ^^;. Only shops have set prices. Bribes are more...you just make an offer and try to bribe me into wanting to draw your picture? rofl rofl . I'm kind of difficult to bribe though, I'm really sorry TT;;!!!

(edit) For bribes, I'm much more likely to say yes if someone comes right out in the first PM and says exactly what they want and for what avatars, and how much they're offering, and tempts me because I think "Ooooh, I want that! And that looks easy to draw!!" rofl rofl

> I don't / won't keep a list of people to PM when I open a shop, auction, etc. etc. ^^;. I tried once, but then I accidentally lost the list and a bunch of people got upset at me...so...yeah TT;. I don't want to make that mistake again!

> I have a listing of some of my gaia arts here: http://kathy100.com/Twism/Art/GaiaImages.html (yes, I'm both Twism and kathy / Kathy100...just two of my different nicks~)
Or you could visit my DA page http://kathy100.deviantart.com/ or website http://kathy100.com/ for more of my art ^^. heart

> I've been drawing for around 8 years now. I've never taken any art classes...most of what I've learned has been through trial and error ^^;.

> I usually draw and color using a Wacom Graphire tablet and the CG program Painter 9.0. You can buy the tablet for less than $100 dollars at most computer stores or online *_*. Painter 9.0 can also be bought in some specialty computer stores or online...but it's really REALLY expensive crying

Personal Info

> I'm female (obviously XD), live in Southern California, and am going to college in Computer Science. Don't ask my age...but I'm probably older than you are T____T *weeps*

> I don't understand gaian culture, and I don't know if I ever will. I've seen people everywhere refusing to accept presents from friends, payment for services, etc. etc. I don't know about you, but I was taught it was rude to throw a present in someone's face...and that business is business. Only leechers think it's okay to eat without paying at a friend's restaurant. ^^;

To me, if I give a present, I give it for free. I don't expect anything back, and I would be hurt if someone refused. I assume others are the same way when they send me presents. If you send me a present in a trade, expect me to say thank you and accept it. O_O;;. Don't expect a picture in return, or get angry at me for accepting. That's just weird.

Also, a commission is a commission. With art, it's the same way. I do commissions for friends. I do gift art for friends. They're completely separate. Don't expect free commissions just because we've talked a few times or something. XD

> I love manga. Love it love it love it crying ! I obsessively read scanlations and spend all day in Borders sneakily reading it XD XD. I can't pick out my favorites, since they change depending on my mood. Some that I love would include Bleach, Host Club, and XXXholic.

> I haven't watched that much anime, I read more manga. If you bring up a series, in all probability I haven't seen the anime, but have read the manga instead ^^;. One of my faves is Slayers (the first two seasons)

> I also love video games! RPGs and strategy RPGs especially. My faves would be Disgaea and Kingdom Hearts.

> My all-time favorite character is Cloud, in all his various incarnations.

> Music isn't really my thing. I'll listen to soundtracks, and like some chinese singers (like Jolin Tsai *_*), but generally...I'm completely clueless when it comes to singers, bands, songs, etc. And I don't really care XD.

> Please don't PM me asking if I'll be your friend ^^;. Making online friends is nice, but I don't believe you can become friends just by asking and saying yes / no. ^^;;
