xxxxBefore the time of the kings and even before communities were gathered, there was a time when there was no violence; only peace. Those whom worked together only sought to assist and better one another. Back then there was no such thing as power or evil. However, even the greatest ambition in which to simply unite the world and help people soon created a perplexing situation that would send the vast tranquility into the void. It was the Great Prophet Neiru that set this event in motion. Though, of course, he was simply carrying out a vision that came to him. There was nothing that foretold him that pursuing the vision would do such a thing.
xxxxNeiru, like all the other people of Averegin, was a simple nomad. But he, unlike most of them, was a leader that was caring for a small group of people and was a person that sought to follow a divine path. A path of good and perfection. One of which that would provide an eternal protection over his people and secure a place for them in the afterlife. This path was of pacifism and peace. Though, in the end, it would create a place where pacifism and subtle force could not be followed. Like said before though, nothing could have foretold Neiru of this. So, the nomad leader followed the vision without question. He was to build a foothold as a beacon for benevolence and a secure location for the gathering of a united community. He began the plan with the help of his followers and they slowly begun to build a temple. It was a daunting task that seemed would take forever, but, no matter what, they persevered. There were times when other nomadic people crossed paths with Neiru's company and some, being good people, helped out. Then as a token of goodwill a group of nomads decided to keep to their origin and kept traversing the terrain of the world only to spread the word of the benevolent deed taken by Neiru. Soon he began to be viewed as a Prophet and his companions were that of Saints.
xxxxAfter years of construction, Neiru finally seen his ambition complete. The temple had been built as per his vision requested. Everyone that assisted Neiru and his Saints gathered at the temple to observe what would happen next. xxxxNothing. xxxxThe temple simply stood in aesthetic promise. At first, everyone remained there with great hope and even more from far away lands sought to see the marvel. Alas, years continued to pass. People eventually began to lose patience and soon departed. They all seemed to go on separate paths with different thoughts. Some in irritation, others in happiness, and some in neutrality. However, for the handful that stayed there in the temple with an optimistic and dedicated view, they were finally rewarded. Perhaps it had been a test to see who was deserving of such an honor to be bestowed of a great path.
xxxxFinally after the years of wait ended, a sign appeared. An aura began to thicken around the temple until it was that of a vast mist. Before long it was so great that an individual could barely see their hand held up before them. The event did not stop there, however. Those that were caught in the mist soon felt as if they were spirited away to another realm of being. As for those that had set up camp around the temple at a distance with disbelief that something would happen and merely stuck around to prove to Neiru wrong, they soon found themselves in for an event just for them. Far above the temple a light began to accumulate and the radiance began to consume the night sky. Then out of nowhere an explosion occurred and a beam of light swallowed up the temple creating a blinding light that made it appear as if one were standing in the middle of a white void. Little did they know, the beam had actually quickly expanded and began to cover the entire world.
xxxxIt wasn't long before the light dissipated and the individuals surrounding the temple were able to enter to see what befell those trapped within. Upon entering, they found Neiru and his company unconscious on the ground. After arousing them and questioning them, all that could be said was that they had felt like they had been spirited away to a distant place. With disbelief filling them, the individuals felt they were hiding something from them and began to interrogate them further. This persisted to the point where it was beginning to become physical. In self defense, the Saints prepared to go on the offensive to stop them and in that moment a magical power within each of them showed itself. The individuals were dumbfounded by this event and in terror they sought to retaliate. Though, in a protective way, Neiru came forth and a bright light began to surround those that wanted to do the Saints harm. He told them how just now, in the clouding, he had been forewarned by the voices that this retaliation would occur and he had the power to resolve it in a peaceful manner. He continued, assuring them that nothing bad would happen to them; however, they would not remember any of this. Then with an almighty power Neiru vanquished his foes. The land between them all began to stretch out away from the company and before long they were no longer in sight.
xxxxThis left Neiru's company all alone, except for a few other individuals that were among the riled bunch. They, unlike the others, were astounded by their power and wished to seek the same path as them. This group remained at the temple to hone their powers and to become paladins that would defend the innocent from evil. The Saints were rewarded with a great magical power and all of them were also able to use the magic of light. The remainder of individuals stayed to train until they could reach the power of the Saints. Neiru was the most powerful of them all and was their mentor. He trained them all until he felt they were ready to follow their paths. Half of them would remain in the temple to guard and expand their knowledge, as well as spread it. The other half would travel to other parts of the world to observe everyone and also recruit those that were marked with the same thoughts as them. Neiru told some of them that they would first reach a body of land that could not be traversed by foot, a substance called water. The reason being that they had never heard of such a thing is because the world was a pangea continent, but when the sign came it broke it into smaller and more continents. The mentor further informed them that that they would wait, that their children and their children after them would wait until an object would allow them to traverse the oceans. Until then they would observe the communities on the shores and lookout for the marked ones. Once the said objects were discovered they would tell their children to travel to the other continents to continue observing and waiting. However, there was one Saint that would be able to overcome water immediately; this Saint was in control of wind and could overcome the task instantaneously by flying to another continent. They would go directly to observe those that retaliated against Neiru. Lastly, he told them that a vision would appear to them showing what they all needed to do in due time. Then with that, they all dissipated to follow their own paths and Neiru went to a chamber where the doors immediately afterward were engulfed by a thick white mist to the point that none would be able to enter.
xxxxAs for all the other nomads, those that were not on the same continent as the temple eventually forgot all about Neiru and the vision, including the individuals that Neiru cast away. They continued their lives until they became settlements and eventually cities where they would seek power, wealth and land which along with it came war. It was the Saints duty to stop as much of it as they could. Those that were on the same continent as the temple never forgot and most of the people remained peaceful. A city rose up not far from the temple and became the capital of the continent; one that would challenge the test of time. Then there were others that needed protection for they would have most likely been viewed much like Neiru's company. These communities were a different form of humans; like vampires, lycans, magic users, etc. The Saints would protect them and keep the malevolent away, but couldn't stop some of the curious from leaving the protection to see the other beings. Long stories short, some of them hid in secrecy among the other communities, some created blended communities, and others created chaos which would have to be dealt with by the Saints.
xxxxMillenniums passed before the ability of travel was discovered and the communities to begin to spread apart. For the most part the Saints were able to hold the peace, but the current time is fast approaching and in this time they are beginning to lose their grip on the tranquility of Avereign. It won't be long before the one that opens the door to the new era appears. In fact, it is happening at this exact moment. The door that has not been opened for millenniums is finally creaking open for the first time to reveal the visions that Neiru prophesied long ago to all the ancestors.
xxxxOnce the seal is broken, there is no turning back and all the peace held together will break; in it's absence there will be turmoil until peace can be brought back and reunite everyone again. The memories of those that Neiru spirited away has been stuck in time awaiting their right to unveil their anger to their descendants. That is correct, this is the time that the Conqueror of Nations, The King of Disildia, finds a forest of magic users by the guidance of his ancestor's vengeful spirit which reveals everything that happened so long ago. Now is the time Zephiel and his knights declare war on the Saints.
xxxxEach character is beginning their own scene on their own stage now. Before long, their paths will cross and only time will tell if it is one of tranquility or of destruction, perhaps even neutrality. But this is certain the World of Avereign is going to be full of adventure and promise from this point on. Every one of them will be unique in their own way and will show to be a good story.
