IT SNOWED! Last night after my class finished I walked out the front enterance and it was snowing. The snow was tiny, but abundant. I was so happy! That's all really, it stoped snowing later that evening and is pretty much all gone now. But it was so nice to see it snow again heart biggrin heart

((Geez, this is really a lot later than I wanted to post this, but oh well.))

This past weekend my family and I went on a drive up through the mountains, it was so pretty. The car was warm and the snow was shining and white. I read my new copy of Alice in Wonderland. It was perhaps the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
The water that comes down from the mountains is the most beautiful green. My father said that it was probably because the mountains are full of coper. As we drove along we passed through several little Italian villages, not dissimular to our own, but blanketed in snow. It's to warm to get snow where we are most of the time, but it's nice that we can go and visit it/see it on the mountain tops from our home.
I'm really tired right now so this post is really shitty and disorganized, but I doubt that I could have truly done the scene justice anyway.

I know this is kinda after-the-fact, but I don't care.

Christmas wasn't exactly a big deal this year, we didn't have a lot of money since we just moved. We only had some cards and a few bobbles on the mantle and NO tree (way to expensive). However, my parents still gave us some money.

New Years was interesting. It's never been a big deal around my house. We usually just sit around watch the ball drop and drink some sparkling grape juice. Unfortunately all the sparkling grape juice was sold out so we had to make our own out of grape juice consentrate and ginger ale. The Italians were VERY into new years, however. They were running around and screaming around 10:00pm and started seting off REALLY LOUD fireworks at like 10:30pm. It was kinda nice to see somebody really enjoying the new year, but my poor cats were going nuts.

Anyway, all in all it was a good winter holiday season (even though we didn't do Hanuka at all crying ).

I learned how to use BBCode tonight. It took me like 10 time's of trying different things to get my sig just the way I wanted it, but it was worth it. I spose I could have spent the time on my homework, but that's not really fun is it? blaugh

Yay! I got my Environmental Science Mid-Term back today and I got a 94! Considering that I had only got an 80 on the first quize I'm REALLY happy about this. I can't believe I'm doing so well in college. I was an average student in High School (made honor roll, but just bearly, obviously can't spell stressed ) Anywho, I hope it's not just that this is an On-Base University. Oh well, I guess we'll find out next year when I go to a University back in the states.

There was a wind storm this evening comming off the mountains. It was sooo strong. I had to drive to a "field trip" for an environmental class I'm taking and all the trees were blowing around. Our car was being pelted with twigs and leafs. But I really don't mind 'cause I love the wind.
After the "field trip" was over, it only took like 10 minutes, I walked down to the BX [I'm a military brat] and did some window shopping. There was nothing new, there were children, and my sister wasn't able to tell my mom where I was so I had to walk really quickly back to the pond [where the FT was]. All in all it was an ok day. It's alway's a good day when it's that windy heart

Today I had to go to school gonk . I did the wrong assignment for english (the one I did was due tomorow). And I have just started working on my science paper that's due tomorow evening. sweatdrop
But on the up side I have just started a Gaia Journal. I've never done anything like this before (not even a diary/journal).
Well, I'll let you all know how my projects turned out.
