Here's something I wrote to Kyle.
~~~
Kyle,
I was talking to my ex-boyfriend about how the trip went this past week, and I told him how much it hurt to be apart from you, and I came up with a new idea. You know how it's going to be so expensive to get an apartment in the US, and it'll be more expensive to get one in Massachusetts? Well, I still want to be away from you the shortest amount of time possible. x.x But then if I can't afford to support us, obviously you'd think there's nothing that we could do, and I'd just have to wait, right? Well, yes and no. Immigration visas are also very hard to come by in the U.S., and it could actually be years before I'd be able to get you one (if it's a regular visa), and I don't think I could afford to support us by the start of this coming school year, so there goes the idea about the student visa.
Want to know my idea? Good. How about me live there for a while? I was thinking that if it were okay with your Mom, that I could just live there with you guys until you finish school, while we can be working on getting you your visa for the U.S. I would get a job up there instead, doing whatever I could find, and save the money up. I know it wouldn't be the same as just you and I being together by ourselves, but at least we wouldn't have to be seperated from each other, right?
Anyway, if you would be happy with this, you know I'm all for it, right? ..I'd be a little scared about leaving my family for so long, and I'm sure they'd be scared too, but you're just too worth it baby. So, what do you say? Should we consider it? ..Should we ask your mother..? >.> I'd help pay for whatever I needed, I wouldn't be a moocher or something.
I know to some it might seem like this is just an act of desperation or something, but it just hurts too much to be away from you, and I'll do whatever it takes to be with you, and I hope you never forget that, no matter what happens. ninja And Canadian visas are easier to get than ones from the U.S. wink I'd actually have a chance of having it later this year, maybe.
~ Updates ~
His mother LOVES the idea, and she keeps on asking me about the progress on it.
And about the Canadian visa... My boss said we have a Brunswick mechanic that's been in Canada for almost a year, without a visa. Sooo...I think I'll be all set on that. - I can just get a temporary visa, then a work permit, and just renew both every six months, since I don't know how long I'll be living there.
^_^
