Beyond all time. part 1
The royal palace of his Excellency, Emperor Argon was normally a peaceful place. But tonight it was far from peaceful. If feelings could be seen then large black storm clouds would be swirling round the palace hiding it's tall towers from view. For an atmosphere of anger and fear were raging through the passageways and round the rooms of the palace tonight.
“Where is she?” his deep voice cut through the air like a sword cutting through flesh.
“We don't know sir.”came the whimpered reply from the head of the palace guard, he hung his head not wanting to look the emperor in the eye.
“How could your men let her get away? I thought you had bound her powers!”
“Well your Excellency...” he braced himself “she may not have used her powers.”
“Not used her powers!” Bellowed the emperor “every one with an ounce of magic felt it! felt her leave!” he banged his fist down on the arm of his throne making the captain jump. “ where the hell did she go? None of US can sense her!” he tapped his foot trying to think.
“Have you told the princess sire? She might be able to find her... Since they have their bond and every thing...” asked his advisor who had stayed well out of all the action until now.
“No, and nor will she find out! is that understood?” said the emperor not even bothering to face him while he answered the question.
Both the advisor and the captain said a quick “Yes my lord.” hoping that they would be able to leave soon.
“Get out of my sight” If they could have gotten away with it they would have run for the door but instead they bowed and walked out of the room leaving the emperor sat on his throne running his fingers through his grey- blue hair and trying to think of away to sort out this mess.
