Making Friends With Kagura
Kagura's Guide to Friendmaking on Gaia, Neopets, Online Forums, and...well...How I make friends at school and at other social places like conventions.
Well, for my friends who are on Gaia, I can say a very good number of them do talk to me on a regular basis.
Well, lately, I've been getting lots of random requests. From people I talk to and we get along, then it's more of a friendly basis.
Sometimes people approach you in various ways. It's good, because variety is what makes the world go around. *.along with cheese.*
But sometimes I get people (not just on Gaia, but anywhere, online or offline) that approach with different motives either as an easy target for doing your homework, trying to get a date, or just trying to find someone to annoy.
I am pleased to say I have not met any one on Gaia that have done such things, so that's good!!
I really treasure my friends, and well, friendmaking is where I get shy.
But I do always end up making some really nice friends in the end. I love them all very much.
Here are some of Kagura's peeves though....*time for Kagura's bashing moments*
Someone Wanting to get a Date: This makes me somewhat disturbed. XD I know...yes. But I don't really get into relationships with anyone because I'd be way to busy for one. Sorry. But no, I don't really come to these sites to find people to go out with. Chances are, if I ever get in a relationship with someone, it'd be someone offline where we can have more one on one actual basis. Not really online. (that's me) And for me, Neopets, Gaia, and other places aren't really escort services. XD
Someone wanting to make friends just for free graphics/stuff: I do make requests, and I love to take them very time. But if you demand so much out of me in making them, I will already dislike that.
Chances are that if you're my friend and we get along, I'll offer you instead of you asking. My dearest friends whom I get into deep friendships and other things usually get free will of graphics, and even they don't abuse them!!
So, making friends with me just for that...well, if you aren't a friend and request something, I will still take it, but if you start demanding, be exact and shoot your mouth off with provocative and bad words...well, Kagura is scared of bad words. o^^o EEP!
Making Friends to Beg For Gold Well, about that, I understand it's well...not easy to make gold. Unless you're a really avid player and devote a lot of time to Gaia, Neopets, wherever. But sadly...I don't have much gold myself because I have a life offline *sad but true* so well, that might be a problem. I will donate every once in a while to friends, items and gifts to friends, especially in the holidays. And if you ask for gold, most likely I'll say yes, except if you're asking for more than I can give...I give basically 100 gold...so well, if you're not fine with that. Well, no gold. I don't beg for gold because I feel like it'd be asking for people's money in the real world. So, I decide to make it on my own, no matter how small, but I do manage to afford and make some gold. *mainly by checking mail or commenting* so I believe that every once in a while, yes, Kagura will donate, but only as much as she can at the moment. She doesn't make that much gold.
Bad Words and offensive terms and really illegible chatspeak If you use chatspeak, I'm find to a point where I can understand it. I can't really understand chatspeak at all sadly...but I learn a bit and a bit. But some chatspeak is way....away. It's a jargon then. I write as gramatically possible that I can just to mae sure my ideas are...concise. *I shound like my teacher's rubric now.* XD But if you use bad words in every sentence or say offensive things that pertain to gender/race/love life/friends anything mean or abusive, I won't honestly take that. It's extremely rude and I would rather avoid people.
But I haven't had a problem with that! =D And I don't think I ever will...except one problem I had once a while back.
My Email Sorry everyone, but my email is private to only close friends (most likely offline friends) and to my students. So, sorry, if you wish to ever talk to me and we haven't met in person or know each other A LOT (I mean...I A LOT) and you've gotten the okay from my parents, then just contact me on these:

If you don't do that, then I got to explain to my parents....XDD And Kagura gets in a lot of trouble.
So, save Kagura!
But all in all, I haven't really had problems like these.
I have to say, Gaia maintains good regulations already. So, I hope I'm not making too many rules. But for my safety, and others, I want my friendships on Gaia to be nice, decent ones. And people have proven to me that! *points to friend list*
So I say thank you to my good friends, hello to new ones, and hopefully no good byes.
I am open to talk to people anytime, send requests, mail, guild invites, and it's nice to talk to people around the world or from anywhere. Fell free to talk about anime, music, anything random and decent.
And well, I hope we all can be friends! o^^o
May I say that a huge quantity of my friends are here on Gaia and Neopets and other places. So, I may say, this is one of the reasons why I join!
