Darkness
A door clicks shut,
And darkness swallows the world,
Screams echo everywhere,
No one likes the dark, Except for one,
She sits in the darkest corner,
And if you could see her,
Her eyes shining bright,
Her long limp hair around her face,
And the joy she portrayed,
Then you would understand,
Why the world,
Needed darkness,
And who it was for,
You would learn to love the darkness,
Embrace it,
Breathe it,
Live it,
And at the end,
When the light returned,
The world would weep,
For the children who will never know dark,
Never understand themselves so truly,
Never be alone
stare well, what do ya think?
