Yeah, I haven't been around in a while. I have been really busy with school and stuff and haven't really been in the mood to post here. But now I have a little down time and decided to talk at all you fine people.

So, what's up with Thal?

I'm glad you asked, little voice in my head. Like I said I have been super busy with school specifically with my Thesis. I finished writing my thesis two weeks ago (the week before thanksgiving for those of you keeping score at home). It was 30 pages long and I had to print off 5 copies for my professors. I probably killed 3 trees the day I printed them off. Oh, and my thesis was on Cyclodextrins, if anyone cares.(usually the first thing people ask me) If you want more information Wikipedia it.

Well, Thal, I bet you're glad to be done with that! mrgreen

Not so fast, little voice in my head, I haven't done one of the most important parts of senior thesis yet, I haven't presented it. Thats right, I need to stand in front of the Chem faculty and a bunch of underclassmen and explain my thesis with a twenty minute powerpoint presentation. Interesting sidenote, did you know that most people fear public speaking more than Death?

Well, Thal, I hope you haven't just been doing school stuff. All work and no play makes Thal a dull boy.

Of course not, little voice in my head, I have had my share of fun. (my room mate alone is more entertaining than any tv show I know of, short of mythbusters) In fact, just last week I spent 3 days in Fabulous Las Vagas, Nevada. It was lots of fun. My dad and I stayed at Excaliber Hotel and Casino, where we saw the Tournement of Kings (basically Midieval Times on steroids). We also went to see David Copperfield, the most awarded magician of all time, perform and I got to help him with a trick! mrgreen But thats not all! I actuall managed to come back 100 dollars in the black. So that was tons of fun.

Well thats about it for now I'll probably be hovering around the site for a little while before I take off, see you soon

Oh btw, I realize in reading this that the part where I talk about my thesis sounds like I am complaining, really I'm not I was just trying (and probably failing) to write that section in a somwhat amusing fashion.
