Ever since she was young, she had loved the rain. When it poured, she had to be outside. When it thundered, she had to be outside, even when she cringed at how loud it was. Some people said she was nuts, but she said she just liked running around in water, and whats better than the water falling from the sky? Besides a water park, anyways.
Today, Mollie-Lynn was wandering through the park while the sky drizzled water onto the earth below. She walked through the grass, eyes closed, with her green and blue flip flops in her hands as she walked barefooted. The mud and grass squished at her feet, and when she had first come out, she had laughed at how it felt. The hazel-eyed girl wasn't that wet from the downpour, which was a sign that she probably hadn't been out that long.
Her headphones hung from her ears as she hummed along and occasionally mouthed the words, iPod tucked safely in the pocket of her black baggy jeans. Swinging her arms out, she spun a moment as she glanced around noticing no one else was in the park. "Well, I guess so, since it's pissing out.." She muttered to herself, before she continued on her walk. She tapped her jean pocket and the song blaring into her ears changed. Maybe it was because her music was so loud that she didn't hear herself singing along, even if it was quietly. Bad habits die hard.
Dropping her sandals back to the ground, she slipped her feet back in them before tugging on her see-through black blouse that was unbuttoned to give a clearer view of her black t-shirt underneath, with the pink outline of a heart with a white skull in the middle; one of her favorite band t-shirts. Probably the same band she was listening to. With a yawn, she continued her walk, arms outstretched on either side of her for a moment before she dropped them to her side. She looked up and spotted the park, though it was deserted from any children. New destination, she thought to herself. Maybe they still have that merry-go-round thing that keeps spinning and spinning... She ran a hand through her long, loose chocolate brown hair before she headed for the park.
