Do you ever think why exactly we were created? Ever think that maybe we didn't just simply evolve from apes because that's how things work, but because God specially set out a purpose for us. A purpose we should be full-filling but aren't?
What am I talking about? You probably just think I'm rambling on for the sake of rambling. But what if we were put on the earth for the sake of the other creatures on the island? What if we were put here to preserve nature and animals?
Well, in my opinion we're doing a horrible job at it. We're a bunch of greedy creatures, here we are destroying the forests, the jungle, wildlife to make room for ourselves. Here we are killing off domestic animals because their is no more room in our big cities. Here we are killing animals for their tusks or fur, or just for the fun of hunting them. We're polluting the earth with our vechiles, litter, and toxic substances.
Sure, there are people like Steve Irwin who helped educate people on animals. There are zoo keepers that are helping endangered species come back, and their are vets who care for sick or injured animals. There are even scientists that study animals for both their benefit and ours.
But is that really enough? Is that all we're going to do? We've already wiped out some species, are we going to wipe out more? Otters? Right Whales? Elephants? Ocelots? Are we really such greedy creatures, so self-centered and uncaring? Are we?
