It was a dark and stormy night. You’d think that’s how is should start. But no,
my life seems just average to anyone who sees me. Oh, I forgot to introduce
myself. My name is Haru Kasai, age 16. I have brown hair and green eyes. I also
live by myself. I live in a place called White City. From the outside it looks like a
peaceful city, but it’s really the home to some of the most hideous monsters and
gruesome villains. And although it doesn’t look like it, that’s where I come in. I
change into the white haired magician and swords master Rath Gale, his job is to
destroy those monsters and remove said villains from the streets. He is accompanied
by his longsword, Sohi, which means blue ice. Other than that, today seemed like a
normal day.....and then it all went wrong.

It was a normal day today, I got up, got ready to go and went to school. Afterwards
I came home, did homework and had some fun destroying a monster that attacked
the local bakery. I was tired and I changed back and fell asleep on my bed. When I
woke up though, there was a girl that I have never seen asleep on top of me.
“.....”
Ok, I admit I wasn’t awake enough to realize what I had just seen, and I went back
to bed, but it then hit me and I yelled and tried to get as far away as I could, which
was a corner of the room.
“huh?....oh good morning Haru.”
“w-who are you?”
“my name is Ayame Myamo, and I....”
“you what?”
“I want to be with you, I love you.”
This was completely new to me. First I wake up and there is a girl that I don’t even
know asleep on me, and now she’s telling me she loves me. I am so confused at this
point.
“um....why? I don‘t even know you.”
“I saw you at school and I fell in love with you.”
“okaaaaay....”
I admit, at this point I was speechless, but I sighed and went on with my day. The only
problem is she clung to me all the way to school. And as it turns out. She’s enrolled in
my class. And is sitting next to me. Which wouldn’t bother me but she’s kinda clingy and
the other guys are giving me evil looks. She was very cute. But I felt as if they either
wanted her for themselves or wanted to kill me, it was hard to tell which one. I finally
made it to the end of school. She clung to me the whole time. Suddenly we heard an
explosion. It was a monster. Oh great. I forget about her and run into an alleyway and
change into Rath, sword and all. That’s when I realized that she was still hanging onto
me. She looked stunned in disbelief...literally. So I went to attack the creature. It wasn’t
really all that tough, my dragon blade technique was enough for it.

The dragon blade technique starts with the blade resting in my hand, with the point
facing my target. The blade begins to glow as the nearby air swirls around it. I then
let loose and slash the target. The wind surrounding the blade, along with the actual
blade, slices the target clean in half.

Afterwards, I went back to the alley to find that she had calmed down and was sitting.
I changed back and crouched down next to her.
“are you ok?”
“that....was....amazing!”
Now at that point I fell over, I can’t believe this girl.
“now listen, you cannot tell anyone about this, ok Ayame? If you do…I‘ll let you stay in my house”
“really? Can I sleep next to you? Please?”
“um...sure...I...guess”
It’s not like I had a choice in the matter. So we went home and after dinner, I fell asleep
on my bed, yet again. Today was quite a day, but I don’t think it could get any worse.
