Quilldeboars are a brand new mysterious species of boars/domesticated pigs; they are often depicted with excessive amounts of extremely sharp quill on their bodies (the backside, mostly), much like an average porcupine. They also have teeth slightly sharper and bigger than an average pig's teeth and are often gray or black in color. While they can be domesticated, they are not supposed to be treated lightly as they can attack other people and humans if one tries to make physical contact with them. Despite this, they are often no match for larger animals such as bears and horses and will often retreat if necessary. The quills are often several times more powerful than the ones off a porcupine as they do not detach or otherwise tear off very easily; like porcupines, the quills serve as an excellent defensive measure against said predator.
Because their quills are so sharp, they often leave deep punctures within the victim's body. The wounds may look harmless but being impaled by these animals may require serious medical care to treat these puncture wounds. The quills can be torn off, but if one succeeds in doing so despite its strength, the quilldeboar can turn extremely relentless and aggressive and it won't stop until it fully kills whoever yanked out even one quill. In fact, if one quilldeboar suddenly turns angry and violent, the rest of the quilldeboars can turn savage for almost no apparent reason whatsoever, so intense caution is advised to all farmers.
These kinds of boars don't seem to get along with other pigs too well, more specifically their sabertoothed solarian kinds. More so, while they can attack farmers, they can at least be pacified with food as long as their quills aren't completely yanked off by careless people. Their skin is also very strong, so even when they're freshly killed, it's otherwise not very easy for other wild animals and even survivalists to simply gnaw, tear, or cut them open, especially if they have the sharpest claws, teeth, or blades. However, their meat is otherwise delicious as long as it's cooked correctly; they can also carry diseases like regular pigs if not cared enough. Along with their flesh, the quills will eventually weaken within 3-5 days after a quilldeboar dies, thus allowing someone to harvest their quills to make decorations or other items. Furthermore, quilldeboars are somewhat hairy underneath all that quill, as their fur is often crafted into various brushes for hair or even paint.

You brought a fire to a world so calm
We're out of time, on the highway to never
