So. Here's a story. My fiance hasn't used Gaia in forever and I kind of just go on every now and again but since zOMG came back, we wanted to both play for nostalgia's sake. However, because he forgot his password, he kept trying it and only to have it put his account on hold right when he finally found his password.
He finds it pretty ridiculous that he has to make an entirely new account just so he can have his old one back and didn't really want to make a new email to use. And since I had several email accounts (one old email and one more recent one for business), I was willing to part with my old email account for him to use.
Downside is that my old email account was still used on this Gaia account, so I decided to update the email address on this account just so he can use the one that had previously used. That way he didn't have to go through the trouble of making an entirely new email address JUST for Gaia.
We did this all in one day and within the half hour of time before we had to leave our home for an appointment. Unfortunately, because it is associated with my account, he cannot utilize it. So he just made a new one that he'll probably only ever use for Gaia and probably never use it again.
So yes. That's the story so far with our Gaia days right now. Maybe he'll get his account back eventually. He just told me next time, he wouldn't bother and it was a waste of energy. It's alright, love.
