Sharing a dinner at home with guests has unfortunately become a lost art. It's a shame because sharing a table in your home is intimate, personal and always memorable.

Salads that come with fast food dishes may not be properly washed. Likewise, chefs who are put in charge of making salads in fast food restaurants may be dealing with the raw vegetables before they have been cleaned and then move onto preparing the final stage of the salad without taking preventative measures to ensure that dirt from the raw vegetables which is on their hands and clothes won't get into the final product. In short, you will never know if your salad dish is really safe to eat unless you know the level of food hygiene inside the kitchen intimately.

At Cranky Chef Catering we have a great team of cranky people committed to making sure that you get the crankiest food in town. We have great chefs and a very cranky boss who makes sure everyone delivers food and service to his exacting standards! Our chefs - and our cranky boss - are proud of the food we deliver and look forward to giving you a memorable service that will make you want to keep eating cranky!

When planning a culinary site-seeing tour, consider your interests and how those interests might be connected to food. It may be as simple as an obsession with ethnic cuisine or a kid-friendly learning activity for a parent-child outing. You can easily find tours to match your interests on the internet, through local city guides/ magazines or the culinary institutes and tourism agencies in your area. Or check out , another great resource which lets you find local experts who run events in your city.

Very enlightening article. Although this would make me think twice about operating a homeless shelter personally, I'd still like to volunteer at one and do whatever I can to help alleviate suffering of the homeless. I long ago became interested in this matter as a college student reading about whole families who having to live in shelters after the parent(s) lost their jobs then their homes, cars, savings etc. This article gives one a lot to think about and sheds a light on how many issues homeless people face and the problem with the system itself.

So, Kindy is mine on Mondays from now on. You can't have her. Well, she can probably leave here and come to your house. She usually is here for about 4 hours, sometimes 5. At $45 an hour, that's $180. Believe me it is worth it: a clean kitchen, meals, snacks, homemade granola, and time saved. I love knowing a healthy, homemade meal is waiting and I'm not throwing unused food away that I was too busy to make into something. This is not the answer for everyone, but for some, it is. We've even dropped a few pounds.
