Make certain to give subordinates all the information they need to perform key tasks successfully. Don't micromanage, but always be aware how each project within your company is progressing.

Even though you are a leader, it is important for you to try your best to get along with others. While it may seem easier to boss them around and tell them what to do, you will prove to others that you are a great leader if you are part of a great team.

Every good leader should be an expert at delegation. Some leaders make the mistake of thinking they have to do everything important themselves. However, if someone else can handle a task in an efficient manner, delegate it to them. Just be clear about expectations, timelines and understanding of the task.
