Auras are emanation of colored light that surrounds each living creature, reflecting readable qualities and truths about that being. The ability to read them is imperative and extremely important in gathering information about potential threats.
Each Aura is unique for every being. Some can be very similar, but no two are exactly the same. As a result of that, they are distinct and are excellent for not only potentially trying to understand that person, but for gauging their mental expression, and even tracking them.
As it being said they are unique, Auras can undergo changes and are not permanent or static. Often though however, it is unlikely for some aspects of it to change.
Auras manifest in layers of color. We will cover five layers. People with strong personalities can have more colors than these layers, but we will be sticking to the core basics.

These Layers Are:
*Pith Layer: This is the most dominant color. It culminates usually from the core of the subject. It represents the most dominant trait in the subject. It also describes the energy they give off.
*Corporeal Layer: This is usually a highlight that is the second most visible. It tells us about the general health and well being of the subject.
*Emotional Layer: This layer usually shows itself in large, broken splotches, however could also be a ring. This layer illustrates the most dominant emotion in the subject.
*Mental Layer: This one shows the subjects state of mind and often tells the temperament of the subject. It shows it self in a ring around the subject's head.
*Morality Layer: This is a thin ring of light surrounding the subject, but is one of the hardest to read. This tells us one of the most important aspects, essentially telling if the subject is a being of light, or a being of darkness. (I suppose you get the connotation.)
