Get ready to plant spring vegetable seeds and seedlings
Growing Spring Vegetables with Don Fabbi is being offered at the West Charleston Library.

When: Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 2 pm

Where: 6301 West Charleston Blvd.

Library Lecture Hall in the Library.

Learn which vegetables to plant and how to grow them for the spring and summer months.

Don Fabbi, PhD, is a Master Gardener with a doctorate in Horticulture and 65 years of experience in the cultivation of flowers, fruit trees and vegetables native and non-native to this desert region.

Free and open to the public.

The following cool season vegetables can be direct seeded or planted in February and March.

Artichoke, Asparagus, Beet, Broccoli, Brussel Sprout, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Swiss Chard, Chinese Cabbage, Chive, Collard, Endive, Horseradish, Kale, Kohlrabi, Leek, Head Lettuce, Leaf Lettuce, Mustard, Green Onions, Dry Onions, Parsley, Parsnips, Pea, Potatoes, Radish, Rhubarb, Rutabaga, Salsify, Spinach and Turnips.
