As we are born with genes from our parents, we perceive the surrounding world on what we experience. We are half "nature" and half "nurture."

We then face what is called, cognitive dissonance. Should I believe this or that?

We then choose one idea and seek constantly confirmation bias. Each time we read something that confirms our thoughts, we get endorphins flowing in our veins. Did you know that a smoker get a kick from getting a cigarette in his hand, long before he/she gets a kick from the nicotine he/she will inhale?

When we are then "addicts" to some ideas, it is natural to think that all those who think differently are ... stupid.
