Celebrations are incomplete without savory and yummy cakes. Cakes are the most common choice of desserts for meals at parties, weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries. They come in different sizes, shapes, flavors, and are enjoyed by people of all ages, especially kids. You must have tasted a cheesecake, chocolate cake or butter cake, but have you ever tasted a race car cake? It is one of the most thrilling and unique cakes that I have ever come across in my life. It can be an amazing birthday treat for your kids or loved ones, especially if they have a liking for race cars.

Things Required

1 box of cake mix batter
9 5 inch loaf pan
8 4 inch loaf pan
2 Little Debbie Swiss Rolls
Spatula Pastry bag with decorating tips
Serving plate parchment paper
Procedure

Pour out the cake mix batter between the two loaf pans. Keep the level of the batter in the 8 4 inch loaf pan higher up the side of the pan than in the 9 5 inch pan. Bake the cakes as per the package directions. Remove the cakes from the oven and allow them to cool. Line the serving plate with the parchment paper and cut each Swiss roll into half, so that you have four equal pieces. Put these four halves on the sides of the serving plate so that when you keep the 9 5 inch cake on top of them, you will observe the four corners under the cake resembling the car tires. Carefully place the 9 5 inch cake on the top of the Swiss rolls. Keep the 8 4 inch cake on the top of the 9 5 inch cake. Make sure it is positioned centrally. As per your choice, mix the food coloring to color the icing. With the help of a spatula, ice the cakes as the body color for your race car. Put another color icing into the pastry bag to decorate the car with windows, sponsor logos, doors, and a racing number. Carefully remove the parchment paper under the car, and serve.

You can add more variations to the cake by using different food colorings and flavors like vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, etc. A race car-shaped pan can be a good option for baking the cake, as it is easily available and convenient to use. Go ahead and try making this enticing cake, I am sure everyone, especially your kids will love it and ask for more.
