There are many talented golfers in college golf, but don't think these student athletes spend all their time on the golf course. Many of them are excellent students, have interesting hobbies and interests, and are great personalities.
Each week during the spring college golf season, we'll spotlight a male or female college golfer, asking them several questions, ranging from golf to pop culture.
This week: UCLA's Bethany Wu steps up to the tee.

How cool was that opening fall season you had and what do you remember most from it?
I got to go back to the ANNIKA, I always wanted to go see Stanford and Hawaii was like the cherry on top. We won and it was kind of like vacation time over there too.
What spring tournament are you looking forward to most?
I don't really know the rest of our schedule (laughs). I guess the event I would think of there is the Tulane event (Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championship).
What's the favorite club in your bag and why?
I like my putter because I love Scotty Cameron putters. I think it's a Newport Circle T. It sets up really well when I line up the ball when I putt, the face is so soft and it's a true roll every time.
What show are you obsessed about present or past?
I've watched Orange is the New Black on Netflix, and my all-time favorite show is Friends. And I also like Grey's Anatomy. Orange is the New Black is everyone's favorite, so I wanted to see and it's a funny and interesting show. Grey's Anatomy, I just love doctor shows. And Friends is just a classic, I don't know anyone who doesn't like Friends.
Which of the six main characters on Friends do you most relate to?
Monica (Geller). I think I have that OCD cleanliness and everything has to be right and correct.
Is the Monica-ness something your teammates notice or do you try to keep secret?
I think my teammates know. It's just a general thing, I'm a person who always follows the rules.
If you could have a walk-up song when you come to the first tee in golf, what would it be?
Anything by John Mayer. I like to be calm when I get to the first tee, and Mayer is my absolute favorite.
Who is your favorite professional golfer to follow on social media and why?
I don't really follow golfers on social media. But I do like Jordan Spieth. I follow him and I like his Under Armour stuff and he's such a cool guy.
If you could get an autograph from anyone, who would you want?
Jordan Spieth's (laughs). And also Tiger Woods', because you have to get Tiger's autograph.
How aggressive would you be in trying to secure Jordan's or Tiger's autograph?
It would be like, everyone get out of my way. It's that kind of deal (laughs).
What pros game does your game most resemble?
I don't think I know. I don't watch much golf because I would rather be playing golf.
What three people would round out your dream foursome?
Jordan Spieth, Annika Sorenstam and Tiger Woods.
Last week, former Bruin Alison Lee had her first pairing with Suzann Pettersen since the "gimme gate" incident. You being a UCLA player as well, if you're in Alison's shoes, how do you deal with that? Do you pretend everything's normal? Do you crack a joke?
I don't really know their personal relationship. I think you just have to respect each other and treat it like any other round of golf and don't bring anything up about it.
