Carmel-by-the-Sea in California, was designed and described by its early settlers as a "Village in a forest. Often a trip to Carmel includes golf, shopping and dining where there is no time to just relax and like the magnificent setting. It even had a famous movie star and director as its Mayor, Clint Eastwood. This town has quaint storybook cottages, shops and restaurants that are enjoyable to discover. Carmel-by-the-Sea is consistently rated as a premier U.

Outdoors, the soaking pools face a brick patio dotted with fire pits flanked by Adirondack chairs for kicking back. Do bring your swimsuit, flip-flops along with a water bottle. It continues to be serving guests since 1927 and it is only four blocks from the beach.
