MAJOR FLOOD WARNING FOR THE PAROO RIVER

Major flood levels have peaked overnight at Eulo and have commenced to slowly ease during Friday. River rises are occurring downstream at Hungerford.
No significant rainfall is expected across the catchment over the next few days.
PAROO RIVER:

Major flood levels have commenced to slowly ease at Eulo, following a flood peak overnight to around 4.42 metres.
Minor flood levels continue to rise at Caiwarro, with river level rises also occurring further downstream at Hungerford.
Predicted River Heights/Flows:
PAROO RIVER at:
EULO: Major flood levels to remain high during Friday, before river levels commence to fall more rapidly during the weekend.
HUNGERFORD: Rises above the minor flood level (1.0 metre) later on Friday, with a peak close to the major flood level (2.0 metres) possible next Tuesday (12/01/16) or Wednesday (13/01/16).
