A man who was cleaning out his car at an apartment complex in La Vista, Nevada, found the 11-month old in the dumpster. This is the same apartment complex where this baby lived with his mother and brother who is 5-years-old. The neighbor, who didnt want to be identified, said he heard a strange noise coming from the dumpster and he opened it to investigate.
Thats when he saw a tiny hand pop out from the dumpster holding an empty water bottle. The 11-month-old was wearing only a soiled diaper and other than reports saying he was a little bruised, he checked out okay at an area hospital. The mothers body has not been officially identified, but it is believed to be her remains discovered in the ditch.
According to HLNTV.com today, the boy was found in the dumpster and police tweeted out his picture asking if anyone knew who this child was. It didn't take long for someone to come forth and identify the child.
The mother and the 5-year-old brother of this child were no where to be found at the time the baby was discovered in the dumpster. Then the mother's body was discovered, which put urgency on finding the missing 5-year-old boy.
An Amber Alert was sent out on 5-year-old Josue Ramirez, who is the older brother of the infant and who is still missing today. The police are not sure as to how long the baby was in that dumpster, so a timeline of events is not clear.

Other neighbors came forward to say they were shocked at learning that baby was left in a dumpster. Emily Winkle said to the media, I just can't believe that someone can do that, just discard a baby like it's a piece of trash. She was extremely shocked that the baby was thrown into the dumpster.
