Vogler works as a full-time firefighter with the Mountain Vista Fire Department on Tucson's northwest side and is part-time emergency medical technician with Southwest Ambulance, according to a sheriff's department news release.
On Feb. 7, Pinal County sheriff's deputies received an indecent exposure report from the Dollar General store in Oracle, stating that a man entered the store, went into the restroom and emerged with his genitals exposed from the zipper of his pants, the release said.
While the deputy was taking the report on site, the store received a call from the suspect apologizing for his actions.
After checking with other stores in the area, deputies learned that a subject matching the man's description had exposed his genitals to employees at four other stores in the area on Feb. 6, Feb. 7 and Feb. 9, the release said.
Through store video footage and telephone records, detectives identified Vogler as the suspect and his identity was confirmed by two of the victims. His pickup truck also matched witnesses' descriptions.
He was booked into the Pinal County jail on six counts of indecent exposure.
