The Book Of Pediatric Cancer Children - Where Is My Hair?
THON is the biggest student-run philanthropy organization on the planet. Would be thrilled to get a phone call from their grandchildren. To date, over $360 million has been raised in his name for cancer research.

Pam Taylor hopes to fight cancer, one free throw at a time. She won't be alone, either. Taylor, the Franklin Central girls basketball coach, will be joining other coaches, varsity players and students throughout the Franklin Central athletic system on Saturday, January 31, 2009, to raise money by shooting free throws. Each player and coach participating in the event hopes to shoot 100 free throws apiece, raising money by securing donations from family and friends. Taylor hopes to raise $2,500. The proceeds will benefit pediatric cancer research at the Riley Hospital for Children.

He was involved in a car accident on November 12, 1976 in which he injured his right knee. The knee pain did not abate and in 1977 he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma; he attributed this to the accident but his doctors disagreed. The only treatment at the time was amputation of the limb.
