There are great differences between MS Paint and Photoshop as we all know it. Both programs are graphic editors and they are both after enhancing the image the way you want it to be. However, there are lots of differences between the two. These differences should be weighed in carefully since there are still some considerations that we need to make in choosing the program that we will be using in editing images. We will not just simply opt for a certain program just because we are familiar with it but also take into consideration the needed editing and other important aspects.

Basically, the difference between MS Paint and Photoshop is their availability. MS Paint is made available to any computer as long as you are using Microsoft. There are no Microsoft users that are not able to enjoy MS Paint in their system unless they deliberately uninstall it. Moreover, there is lesser tendency if not none at all, of a crashing system or file when we make use of MS Paint. This is because MS Paint does not require large RAM or fast CPU. This just means that MS Paint can be used even if the computer that we will be using is a bit old already. MS Paint is bug-free, as far as it has been known to be, making it more user-friendly and safe to use. Aside from that, MS Paint is also easy to use especially for those who want to familiarize themselves with the basic knowledge of image editing. The simple tools and commands that are associated with MS Paint are really easy to handle. With this, MS Paint is a good starting point for anyone who wants to develop there skills with editing images. However, due to the limitations on the tools of MS Paint, image editing and creation here are also limited.

On the other hand, Photoshop is a great software program for detailed and specific image editing or creating needs. There are lots of features and commands that are available with Photoshop that simply cannot be found in MS Paint, making it more useful. When you want to create a certain image that is impossible to achieve, you can make it happen with Photoshop. More so, you can create images on your own with Photoshop with all the features that are available from this software; you can surely create varied images out of the features and tools of Photoshop. With Photoshop, the imagination is the only limit for your creativity. However, learning and using the tools in Photoshop cannot happen overnight. It really needs a lot of time and effort to really be able to be comfortable to the use of Photoshop.

Basically, these are the basic differences of MS Paint and Photoshop. There are even a lot more differences between the two which you can check out for yourself when you get introduced to both programs.
