Oppression is quite natural for governments, especially leftist ones, in fact it's the only possible mode of operation for government, when it expands it's power beyond it's basic utilitarian roles...the strong have oppressed the weak. Capitalism/Darwinism is an extension of this idea. So anyway. Try having been single for years at a time, and the stigmas that are cast on people who are inexperienced with the opposite sex. A guy past 25 who has not had multiple sexual partners will have a tough time attracting any woman, beautiful or even plain-looking, past 30, he's screwed. The stigma of being single for years/lonely is 1000 times worse than any negative byproducts that are a result of being beautiful. Beautiful women never say this outloud nor do you hear about it in all women's magazine that would have you believe all men are just after sex, which is such gross overgeneralization of guys.
Dating on line has quite a few issues not faced when dating from your church or denomination. The most prevalent is distance. I've heard many horror stories in the last year.
