EIGHTY per cent of the kids in Queensland's are not seeing a dental practitioner by the advised two years of age.

Chief Dental Officer Mark Brown utilized Dental Health Week (August 3- cool to emphasize the startling figure.

"Today is an excellent moment to remind parents to get their child to your dental check up from the suggested age to detect any problems before they get major problems."

Dr Brown known to the Queensland Child Dental Health Health Survey 2010-12, a statement released last year that included amounts on childhood tooth decay levels.

"Considering the fact that that half of Qld children aged 5-10 surveyed had decay in their primary teeth, it's apparent that we need to get our children's teeth examined just as it's advocated," he stated.
