When writing a blog post, strive to provide information that will really intrigue your readers. While you might want to blog about vacuuming your house or washing your dishes, these are tasks that almost everyone does. If your information isn't presented in a unique way then readers aren't likely to care. Chose subject material that you feel confident readers will be interested in. Keep in mind that your overall goal is to gain regular readers for your site.
Stay real. Don't pretend that you know everything there is to know about your niche. Demonstrate honesty and transparency at all times. Do this always. Your blog is a revelation of who you really are. Don't strive for perfection; this is a waste of time. Just strive to improve yourself through your blogs. If you make a mistake, you make a mistake. Your uniqueness is yours alone and this will be reflected in your blog, imperfections and all.
Bear in mind that anyone, anywhere can access a public blog. You voice could influence the actions of many people. Remember this as you start running a blog. Just one sentence or one idea can have a significant impact on someone else who you will never meet.
