Microfiber Leather Multi-Angle Slim Jacket Case Cover - $39, MiniSuit. This case may have the worst name, but it's the best of the four I tried. In fact, this is the one I bought for myself, and I love it.

Like the Macally case, its cover and back are slim and light, adding little bulk but still protecting the iPad fully. The MiniSuit case has a jointed, plastic back that lets you set it upright and has a tri-fold magnetic cover that folds into a pyramid for propping up on a flat surface. The tri-fold ridges also serve a purpose on the back side of the cover - when you use the jointed back to set the tablet upright, the ridges give you three viewing angles.

There two downsides to this case, but one of them actually has a benefit. The cover doesn't fold flat against the back but rather angles out slightly, giving you yet another angle for viewing. And when the cover is folded into its pyramid configuration, it won't allow the tablet to stand upright, as with Apple's Smart Cover. Then again, you don't need that because of the jointed back.

And here's a tip: Amazon.com sells this case for $23, making it the best bargain of the cases here.
