Q. I am looking at folders where I store photos I have taken and some of the icons do not display the thumbnail images. What I see is a series of framed scenes of a mountain and lake. If I double click on these, the photo will open. This makes it difficult to find specific pictures we want to print. How can I fix this problem?
A. Windows keeps a thumbnail database to be able to show file icons as miniature versions of the image files they represent. This is handy for quickly reviewing file folders filled with images.
