SAN CARLOS, Calif.--(Business WIRE)--Natus Health care Incorporated (NASDAQ:Infant) today announced that it
has acquired Medix, a leader in the advancement, manufacturing, and
sales of products for newborn care in Latin America. Medix, based in
Argentina, manufactures incubators for use in hospital nurseries and
neonatal intensive care units, transport incubators for use in
ambulances and other emergency autos, infant warmers, and LED based mostly
phototherapy gadgets.
Natus acquired all exceptional shares of Medix capital stock for $14
million in income, exclusive of direct expenses of the acquisition, with the
prospective for additional buy consideration if certain income
