According to Urban Dictionary, trolling” is the art of deliberately, cleverly, and secretly pissing people off, usually via the internet, using dialogue”. You realize that the longer a text message gets, the more likely it is to be split up into two or even three separate messages. But, please remember: simply writing DM in a tweet does not turn the message into a direct message, and that it will be released for your followers to see.

I'm not saying texting is bad or that I don't like it, but if I can help it I'm going to stop using text language. But when people start speaking in text language (as in actually saying out loud 'LOL!'-and not jokingly) i draw the line. I had a friend who though LOL meant 'lots of love' - that could have led to an awkward misunderstanding if they'd used it to sign off a serious or sad text or email... 'I'm sorry for your loss, LOL'!

The acronyms are also used in text messages, emails, blogs, forums, imageboards, instant messages, as well as in social networking sites such as Facebook.
