It was summer months of 1988. I was employed in Germany coupled with met track of friends at the gite inside the Loire Valley for the annual holiday. A good compromise should be to book some equipment for windsurf hire or windsurfing lessons at the chosen holiday destination but deal with your own personal travel & accommodation. This way you have the actual free feel of needing the many windsurfing equipment shipped to you yet maintain a component of flexibility when you are in command of your own personal itinerary.
