While that is the way western countries do their laundry inside the 21st sentry, some 3rd world countries still don't know what a best washing machine uk is or why we don't have to wait for clothes to dry, and in many cases if they do, they haven't any money to purchase such machines, even if it is likely to make their life so much easier.
