The Paleo Diet Plan – Cooking The Gluten Free Diet Program With Herb plants.

What exactly is Paleo eating? Plainly explained} it is a natural way to
diet that is low in fat, gives a wide range of vitmins and minerals and is the way, we have come to understand, people are meant to eat food. Plainly
told it is the healthiest way to eat a complete diet.

Foods allowed on Paleo Food List:
-Lean Chicken
-Chicken
-Sea food
-Natural Fruit
-Natural vegetables
-Walnuts (non-processed)
-Seeds (non-prepared)
-Natural and dried herbs

-Seasonings and natural enhancers (garlic, onions, peppers, cloves and etc.)


Foods allowable in the Paleolithic Eating plan are lean meats, chicken, fish, fresh fruits and produce, nuts, seeds, spices and natural and dried natural herbs. There are a world of creative Paleolithic Food recipes
that are being delectably enhanced with fresh and dried herbal plants. Let us review herb
choices and herb lexicon.

Herb glossary

-Bay: Used within soups and stews. Replace: Thyme

-Basil: greens grand with tomatoes.
Replacements: Marjoram, Mint


-Cayenne Pepper: Got from small fruited forms of
capsicum. Is a dull red color. Found in few
amounts in greens, meats, salad dressing and cheeses.


-Chili Pepper: Dark Red which contains antioxidants and may retard bacterial growth.

-Chives: Good with salads and Cold Plates. Substitutes: Scallions & Green Onions


-Cilantro: Salsa, Asian & Caribbean Items.
Substitutions: Flat-leaf Parsley Spicy Basils

-Cinnamon: Tan brown in color. carries antioxidants and could retard bacterial growth


-Cloves: Dark brown in color. Generally used within combination with other spices.
Includes a bitter flavor.


-Curry: has antioxidants and might retard
bacterial development

-Dill: fish, Fowl, Eggs, Salads, Beans, Carrots, Cucumbers, Cabbage, Potatoes,
Pickles & Sour Cream or Yogurt Dips. Stand-in: Caraway

-Lemon Grass: Oriental Dishes, Chicken, Beef, Curry sometimes in combination with
coconut milk. Replace: Lemon Zest

-Lemon Verbana: sea food, Poultry, Marinades, Salad Dressings, Jams, Sauces, Teas

Substitute: Lemon Grass & Lemon Zest

-Mint: Lamb, Eggplant, Sweets Teas, Salads, greens,
Fruits. Stand-in: Spicy Basils

-Mustard: Young soft leaves are put to use in greens and for salads.
Seeds are used as a ground spice in salads dressings, pickles, sauces, in some produce and cheeses.

-Oregano: Beef, Fowl, Pasta, Tomatoes. Replace: Marjoram,
Mint, Basil

-Parsley: Preferred herb that could be used in variety of ways. Can be utilized in
fruit and vegetable salads, in sandwiches, in soup and gravy.

-Pepper Grass or Cress: Can be utilized in salads and
sandwiches.

-Sage: Poultry, Legumes, Stuffing, Pastas. Substitute: Thyme, Summer
Savory

-Tarragon: Fowl, Eggs, sea food Substitute: Anise, Fennel

-Sweet Basil: flavor of cloves. Flavors salads, soups and meats.
