FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -
Four Fort Lauderdale police officers have lost their jobs after it was learned they exchanged racist text messages and one made a blatantly racist video. Now Local 10 News has obtained audio of the woman who started it all speaking to investigators.
Priscilla Perez, 22, said she sent a complaint to Fort Lauderdale police Chief Frank Adderley about her ex-fiance, Alex Alvarez, in fear that she could be hurt or even killed for telling her story.
"I just want to make sure that he's not going to get access to none of this until it's done, because I'm really scared of what he might do," Perez said in a sworn statement with investigators.
