A heavy snow system coming from the midwest is going to wallop the eastern coast of the United States. Forecasts predict nearly three feet of snow in New England and 20 to 30 inches in New York City, with freezing rain, cold temperatures, and heavy winds with gusts up to 55 to 65 mph.
