For some people, surfing is a major part of their life and is definitely a major part of their spring break. If you are headed to South Africa and want the ultimate surf trip, there are a few things that you should know in order to make your trip the best possible.

If you travel frequently, consider becoming a travel blogger. Instead of writing about your trip after you return home and rest up, why not write as you go? Hit the highlights of your day before going to bed. Find the out of the way cafe and review their signature dish. Introduce your readers to the locals and interview them about the best places to see. Rent a bicycle or a moped and take off on your own and ride the road less traveled. Or walk the road less traveled and you may be surprised what you may find. Be careful where you walk or ride as you won't be making money if you are sitting in jail.

Australia is a beautiful country and a lot to offer to visitors. No matter what kind of terrain you are looking for, it can be found Australia. There are snow capped mountains as well as a large dessert. There are great beaches, good food and a happening night scene. If you are the cultural type you can indulge in nature walks and visit Aboriginal settlements.

Why wouldn't they create a photo blog to share their work. Some bloggers' photo blogs have even helped them to build a portfolio and do freelance work.

Write about neighborhoods you find yourself in, the people you meet, and any interesting food you eat. The more descriptions the better, giving your viewers a visual and making them feel like they are there with you.

How do you establish a following and find readers? First, set up a blog site online. There are many blog web sites out and about the web that have no cost set up. Perhaps start blogging with travel trips and a few stories from past vacations to get your blog started. Finding readers and developing a following is all in the marketing and how you promote your blog. Get your blog listed on blogging sites and search engines. If you know anyone with a web page, ask them to put a link to your blog on their page. If you are on one of the many social networks, be sure you add a link to your blog. Don't let twitter be a stranger even if you just post a link to your Taiwan Travel Blog.

Music/Movie Reviews: Love entertainment? This is a great niche if that's your thing. There's a large market for music and movie reviewers. The more knowledgeable you become the more respected you become. People may just listen to what you have to say. You may even get invites to concerts, with access to exclusive photos and interviews.
