Rochester Institute of Technology Electronic Gaming Society is a student run organization at the RIT campus that organizes live gaming events. They host many events thru the year and several big events that are open to the public.

Riots competitive MOBA "league of legends" has become one of the most played video games in the world and all without being compatible with operating systems other than Windows. But that's not for a lack of trying. In March Riot has finally made LoL available to play on Mac via an open beta.

The second match of the NESL Premier League Tournament has ended. Counter Logic Gaming versus LowELO. Team CLG ended up losing the first of the 3 games to team LowELO. CLG ended up using two substitute players in their lineup instead of the original core five. Which to some may seem awkward but its never a bad idea to give the fresh and new team members some time to get experience and shine. After the loss the two players Doublelift and SaintViscious were replaced by the two original core members Elementz and Chauster. This led them to go on to defeat team LowELO in two straight wins for deciding factor of the best out of three match style.

The last way how you as summoner have influence on your champion are the 2 summoner spells everyone chooses before the match. Those are abilities which are not connected to the champion you play and can be used at any time, for example a teleport or a heal.

CLG loses to LLL in a surprising landslide. This game was a little bit better but turned into a snowball of a loss quickly with CLG being outplayed by the EU teams in both games. Quite a disappointing and unexpected upset in terms of matches. But the meta game and latency is a factor in this.

They will first have to run the gamut of an online league from Sept. 4 to 30. The league will consist of eight teams, three of which MLG is inviting to play. MLG did not announce which three teams they have invited.

What makes her ult so powerful isn't that it just stuns you or protects her, but the ice also spreads to a pretty huge area which then slows enemy movement speed. This makes it far too powerful because even after coming out of the stun, you ALSO get slowed. There is basically no escape for you. If Lissandra has a couple of her teammates with her, her ultimate might as well read "press R to have someone killed before they can do anything." This is why you often see Lissandra get so many assists.

With 2 games set-up for each week in the season having only 8 teams in each division seems a little sparse compared to the large roster of teams sports fans are used to in football and baseball. The reasoning comes down to the fact that Esports is truly an international organized sport. While there are only 8 teams in the NA division there are also 8 teams in the EU division and when things get down to the playoffs we'll be looking at teams from Asia as well. Also teams from partnered competitions like MLG will have a chance to join the season as well later on.

This is something to look forward too, there are many updates because this game is still young. It's better to get inside the community now and become the best!
