Being Productive: Easy Time Management Tricks
Are you always feeling rushed and like you're simply lacking enough time? Is it difficult for you to schedule your activities? Are you in need of some advice on how to use your time well? If this sounds like you, these suggestions should be incredibly beneficial to your life and schedule.

Make good use of a timer. If you can't seem to focus, use a timer and allocate yourself whatever amount of time that is available. For instance, if you have an hour to work on a task, set the timer to let you know when 15 minutes have passed. Then take a brief break, reset the timer and continue this routine until the hour has elapsed.

Set up your work a day ahead of time. Plan out your agenda ahead of time. A list is a great way to organize yourself for tomorrow. This will allow you to see what you need to do.

Be sure to schedule flex time for interruptions in your daily schedule. If you schedule your appointments back-to-back and not allow for any unexpected interruptions, your whole schedule may be thrown off. By planning for these distractions, you'll stay on schedule.

Saying no is important. A lot of people stress out because they don't know how to decline a request to do something. When you have too many things to do on your to-do list, take a careful look at what it contains. Can you get help from anyone else? If there are, talk to family and friends to help.

Try to remain focused on the task at hand to improve your time management. Don't let other things distract you while you're in the middle of something. Sometimes, people try to put priorities into your time for you as you work. This should be stopped, unless it's an emergency. Complete one task before moving on to another.

If time management isn't your strong suit, then try planning your day the night before. You do this by sitting down and ending one day with making out the next day's to-do list. When you take the time to do this, you can feel more relaxed and ready to tackle daily pressures.
