All that though I live 5 hrs from HBV's site, WHENEVER I called for assistance in any repairs --- even after my 1 year cosmetic repairs were up, they still sent someone out to make repairs. Further, the one year is for cosmetics, there IS a 10 year warranty on the structure of the home. My wife and I were so impressed with their homes and the customer service, WE called HBV (not them to us) and volunteered to be in any promos on their behalf (and I can promise you, we did it for FREE, we are not paid actors).

I have recommended HBV to several friends and family members --- in fact, HBV is building a home for one of our close friends, now (and I am confident that if I called them to ask for any repairs to be made to my home, they would send someone over), and my in-laws are working with HBV to get the home they want.

I am an ex-employee of HBV. I have known the owner for over 18 years. I think he has been in business at the same location in Sanford for at least 25 years. He continues to thrive in a very small town as all others fall by the wayside. I have seen this man bend over backwards to please customers. I would HIGHLY recommend HBV as they are an excellent company with a lot of good employees who are very concientious. They sell a lot of homes and perhaps one fell through the cracks, however I am sure this is most likely exagerrated. HBV literally sells over 100 houses a year, and has been for a long time. When I worked for them in the heyday, they sold 360 that year. there is a reason for that. Customer satisfaction. The difference in HBV and other modular dealers is HBV buys the house from the manufacturer without "factory service". The owner will not allow the factory service people to work on the house because they are frequently unreliable and do poor work. The owner makes sure his crews handle everything necessary to get that home completed. Just ask anyone in the industry with no dog in this fight who is the best retailer in NC and they will tell you HBV.
