In order to boost sales, a lot of new items have an "undergarments" pose. With shading that creates cleavage, and itsy bitsy little coverings that keep things legal.
Yawn.
Seriously, nude avatars are boring. Because under all this pixellated decoration, they're all the same. They don't even have the marvelous infinite variations that actual living, breathing humans have under their clothing, which makes living, breathing human nudity somewhat more interesting.
But this? Cookie cutter. It's not sensual, it's lazy. Half a dozen colored pixels arranged in a diamond? Call it a "lace cover", call it a merkin, call it a panty shield - it's still lazy and uncreative. It's one more example of Gaia charging far more than the effort that went into the "art", as it were, is worth.
Look, if you want avatars to have a shaded cleavage option, just leave it in the stores and charge something reasonable (preferably in gold) for it. Stop pretending it's a costume, or a garment, or something wearable or creative. It's just another building block.
