One day I'm in the clouds,
Thinking solely of you,
Another day I'm on the ground,
In a worry as to what I should do,
Handsome dear,
There are things that I fear,
But I know you can't ease the pain,
It's my job to keep myself sane,
One day you're in the clouds,
I cross your mind,
Another day you're on the ground,
Letting lust make your eyes blind,
Handsome monster,
You don't care if I'm a creature,
Of pooled up emotions,
Does either of us have the devotion,
To be something more,
You make my heart hit the floor,
And I can't tell if you're a fake,
Or if you're the one who will make,
What we are,
If we can go far,
And yet here I am,
Lost in emotion,
Lost in my thoughts,
Asking myself what I'm not,
Asking what you are,
If we could get far,
You're a spark on my heart,
Lighting it to fall apart,
Getting past my walls,
I ask when I'm to fall,
It's you that I underestimate,
Perhaps this is why I hesitate,
I sense something within you,
Something different....
And I don't know what to do.
