Met a little boy today (about 7 i think) strolling outside with a green umbrella on this sunny sunny day. I smiled and said "hello" and he proudly declare, showing off his umbrella, "It gives me lots of shade!" ...zomg so cute. I told him he was so right and he looked like a little palm tree. Cuuuuuuuute little guy! XD And it was a little boy which makes it even better.
On another note, I've noticed something and was pondering it extra today. People are more polite to me when I'm working. ... Like 90% polite vs 10% rude. When I'm not working it's totally switched!!! confused When I'm working people call me "sweetie" and "hun" and when I'm out and about I get called "freak!" and yelled at and get flipped off. I wonder how many other people have had similar experience. My guess is that seeing me working means, in their eyes, I've been accepted by the establishment I work at therefore I'm not a psycho. But when I'm doing errands I become a horrible blemish on society that's probably jobless because "who would hire that?!". (yes, i've heard that before leaving an interview. they were not as quiet as they thought.) Even though I was the only person at the interview that dressed remotely professional in the line-up of applicants...
Hummmm.... Back to knitting.
