The Knights of the hidden war, (originally known as the honoured knights) were founded by a small unknown group of 5 warriors to try and stop a great and ever growing evil which was later named the legion of fury. These warriors fought against the legion wherever they surfaced to try and defend those that the current kings would not and slowly over time these warriors earned the respect of not only the people they vowed to protect, but there greatest enemy the legions leader, whom now knowing the prowess of the warriors he dubbed the name of the honoured knights.
After the knights had been waging this battle to keep the unnoticed people safe, one of the great kings called them before him, to order them to fight for him, they refused, now this angered the king and he swore to destroy the knights who although had gained in number, still held no quarter to his own army. Now learning of the king the legions leader sought an audience and somehow tricked the king into his service, and so after this down fall the knights were harder pressed to keep there vow with only three of the original five left this task was becoming harder, but soon it would become nigh on impossible because the legions leader who revealed himself to be called Naizak, captured the three and offered them a choice join him or perish now one of these knights vowed to never be swain by him and said that as long as their is a knight the legion would never prevail now the other two were unfortunately a little more ruthless and cut him down were he stood sealing there new found loyalties these two and the knights that followed them became known as the traitor knights and to this day still fight with the legion against the ones of us that followed the example of the one faithful knight over time the legion and the knights were forgotten and humanity let the names of there protectors die into myths and legends, but still the legion fights and the knights of the hidden war as we Are known (at the time of writing) continue to uphold our vow to a people that have long forsaken us.
Within recent years the legion has increased its activity and even attacked knight held fortresses, after one siege where many died the legion suffered a great loss and a new era ushered in and now we are known as the hidden ones, and still we forget not our vow.
